Sun spun, rays woven into breath, given, taken, one and one and one,
waves ridden, sudden, hungry like the beast, whole and unholy, sparkling, fading, baiting, pulling in the thought. Thought by writhing thought, sensation of closeness, hollow vast view, textured sound of sky, and sweetness. Our mortal blink, our prayer for something better, our restructured definition of undefinable things. Things like peace, fairness, sustenance. Sun spun, rays sharing enough for all. What blocks the fluid slide? Something too dense? Something in us? Is it us? Blinking too long to maintain the view? I cannot see a thing at times. So a blessing is needed. I long for it so deeply, and choose to create it myself. A blessing for this summer solstice, from my heart, to the world.

Creating a slideshow for a table presentation, I was amused at how iPhoto combined my images.
A journey from one dimension of expression to another... drawing on paper to editing digitally to dancing to praying to celebrating... light to shadow to form to weightlessness to truth to reflection to love. Oh underwater shepherd-queen, come bestow some grace on me.
Sweltering, I'm afloat yet bolted to the sand, ever changing and still I swim the same, and up around and all about you, I long remain. A bemused fan, forever devoted to your tug and tide, to your bluest deepest dream of dreams, my underwater riding-hood, my underwater queen. |
"Our world is in crisis because of the absence of consciousness. And so to whatever degree any one of us, can bring back a small piece of the picture and contribute it to the building of the new paradigm, then we participate in the redemption of the human spirit, and that after all is what it's really all about."
